This is the first part of a 2 part video I did about assembling my AR15 receiver lower. I figure it kinda helps to see it before you try to tackle it yourself.

Yeah, that's a 2 x 4 that has been cut down to the magazine well dimensions with a couple of stops on either side. The only bad thing about it is it tends to shrink or expand depending on the weather, but so far that hasn't been that big of a deal.
