My new Scott Aspect 45 with Shimano BR-M485 disc brakes makes some noise

I have the same problem too.

The brake pad polluted by brake oil, it is why the brake pad making noise when you press the brake lever down. Clean all the Brake Pad & Disc by alcohol.

(Someone have post a method that Release 2 bolt on the caliper by 45 degree with allen key can stop the leaking, don't make it tight further but only release! I will try and keep you post. )

Two solutions:

(1) A Swiss product called "Brake Silencer", or

(2) New disks... pads won't help

so got the same problem but u don't hear me complaining about it but thats only because there so dam loud
