Who would have thought that baldness and heroism could go hand in hand?

Calling all heroic citizens of Jacksonville, let's see those beautiful bald heads! Help us shave the way to a cure for pediatric cancer. On SATURDAY, MAY 8 at Nemours Chilren's Clinic, we'll have a Shavin' Shindig like no other, with games, face-painting, door prizes, entertainment, a silent auction, arts and crafts and more!

But most importantly, we'll cheer our heroes on as they shave their heads to show solidarity to children with cancer and to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Our shavers are enthusiastically supported by friends, doctors, family, nurses, children and others who have been touched by cancer to generate awareness that pediatric cancer—the #1 killer of children—is terribly under-funded.

So whether you're a hero ready to crop your crown, an admirer supporting a shavee, or a local business or organization excited to pay it forward, we want to hear from you. Better yet, we hope to see you MAY 8TH!
