Electric Chopper custom electric bicycle DEMO

Electric Chopper Bicycle. Custom Made. Approx 40 mile range with light peddling. Top speed 20Mph. Meant for cruising around town in style and without getting a DUI after a few beers. The battery is a Lithium Iron (LiFePo4 36 volt 20 ah) that I ordered directly from hong kong thru ebay for $570. Lithium batteries are already much cheaper since I bought this one. I saw a battery on 1/28/09 with the same stats on ebay for $379. WOW. Eletric bikes are great. I have a full sized electric motorcycle too for shorter quicker trips. I'll post a video on that soon.

Back wheel should be larger than front wheel.

Back wheels on all motorcycles are smaller in diameter than front wheels. Especially on old school 70's choppers which is what this is modeled after. As far as the width of the back tire and having a big fat back tire that is bad for electric bikes as its not efficienct and I think bikes look stupid when people try to hard to make them look like they are not a bike. Plus I built this frame and complete rolling chassis from Scrap for under $50

Yeah but its far more rare and with this bike the cop has the option of being cool and considering it a bicycle not a motorized vehicle; Which is a lower offense. And you need to be pretty trashed or doing something pretty stupid to get pulled over on a bike. But it can happen.

@Justin131313justin13 do not know about your state but in mine the d.o.t. will take your d.l. for operating (a human powered vechile) while intoxicated but your right the cops usually don't deal with bicycles my friend had an electric bike that could hit 40 mph and never got pulled over just crashed when the front wheel came off that is to fast for a bike
