Momentum = Velocity * Mass

Translation: Overall power = Speed * Mass

Sonic's MASSIVE speed would kill anyone. This explains why a harmless little bullet is so deadly once it gets its speed. On it's own, it's hardly anything. Add some speed, and it's feared throughout the world, thus explaining why sonic should win any fight. Brawl shouldn't have toned down sonic's speed so much anyway. He needs that speed. He hates being slow....
