SSBB: Mario vs. Sonic (Level 9 CPUs)

1/13/2009: Okay, for the love of hell, I really wish I didn't have to do this, because I don't want to, and I can't. I'm too busy to be constantly monitoring the comments made on my video, but I will not stand for inappropriate language, racial slurs, and vulgar insinuations in the comments. In laymen's terms: stop insulting each other's mothers, among other things, or your comment will be removed and you will be blocked.

I know everyone and their mother has already done this match, but this was my personal result of pitting level 9 CPUs against each other. Just to note, however, that since the CPUs in Brawl are more intelligent - or at least vary their routines more - that this is the result of only one battle. I could set up the same battle with the same conditions later on and the other will come out on top instead.

So this isn't anything definitive. Just for fun, and this isn't intended to be the ultimate deciding factor for who's better.

We won't find that out until we pit the world's best Mario player against the world's best Sonic player.

Sonic was made weaker in SSBB because he would be too strong and that Nintendo wanted Mario to be stronger. Sonic was supposed to have his Homing Attack WAY stronger than that. I mean, look how strong it is in his games. Homing Attack can destroy steel robots in 1 hit and most of the characters aren't even metal. Plus, Sonic was also made slower! Fuck You, Nintendo.
