No On Amendment 47!

Out of state corporate PACs are lying to the people of Colorado to try to pass Amendment 47. They are telling people they can be forced to join a union. Forced to pay union dues. Taft-Hartley and the Colorado Labor Peace Act made that illegal in 1947 and 1943 respectively.

If Amendment 47 passes as it has in 22 other states, it will make, on average:
* $3,500 - $5,300 a year less pay
* Healthcare coverage go down 23%
* unemployment benefits go down 20%
* workman's comp benefits go down 20%
* workplace deaths go up 51%
* $1,699 less spent on schools
* infant mortality go up 17%
* poverty rate go up 2.3%
* income taxes fall with wages

VOTE YES ON 47!! you are forced to join a union if working for many companies, i.e. Kroger so that part of the video is a blatant lie. If I had the right to say no to union membership I would have made $2k more a year & worked with more competent people who didn't need a union to hold a job. Labor unions are a joke, they are the same as paying a pimp to work.

Amendment 47 would defeat the purpose of forming labor unions.

We have labor unions to thank for basic stuff like the 40 hour workweek and the concept of over-time pay. Look it up. ;)
