Who idiot has put devils face to the end of this song?

@palmtreekate1 - Sounds like me! I have listened to Concerto For a Rainy Day so many times, I've lost count.

@777deadinside do understand. and do sympathise. change focus a bit and get some perspective. watch something you find funny & see the absurdity of life. this does not take away from the sentiments you expressed. it balances them

Great song. Inspiring lyrics. Got me through a very bad break up with a girl I was deeply in love with in 1980. Last I heard she was on husband number 4.

The whole "Concerto for a rainy day". Maybe the best time I ever spent as a youth.

I was introduced to ELO way back in the mid seventies. A group of ELO diehards we knew the lyrics of just about all the songs and many a night on the way back from the pub was accompanied by us singing them much to the annoyance of neighbours trying to sleep. Sadly most of that happy bunch are now dead, taken far to early, including my best mate who died at the age of just 44. I'm 55 years old now and hearing an ELO song can transport me back 30 years to those happy days. RIP guys. Not Forgotten

This has been my all time favourite song since I was 17. I am 48 now and have no intention of selecting a new all time favourite. To me, it depicts someone who is in a situation of which there is no way out, hence the big wheels turning - never ending, on and on they go.....

I think - nay, I HOPE when my last sounds I hear on this Earth are heard, it is of this song that my ears record my last moments. Nothing would better such an accompaniment of the only ascension to Paradise.

Celle- là, elle est très bonne. Big Time! Remarquez la progression musicale avec des instruments pourtant très nobles ... Puissants arrangements
Waking up hearing ELO in your head is a good thing.....what a better way to start ones day!!!

I sit here listening as tears flow down my face. I was called a faggot for listening to those "fiddle-fags". It was so deep at the time. I was only about 12 years old and I could not get enough of this music. Now I am a 46 year old man who is deeper than anyone I know and the heart and emotion of my life move me to the core...I am so blessed and so alone at the same time. I have a strong Faith but sometimes I long for the times in my life when I could just escape the sound of the travesty.
