Maniacal laughs come in all shapes and sizes. Here is a montage I created using many of the great maniacal laughs throughout film and television history, set to the tune of the Doors' "People are Strange" (instrumental version).

Maybe when the footage become available from the latest Muppets movie you could add Chris Cooper in there. All he says is "Maniacal laugh! Maniacal laugh!" and his Muppet henchmen laugh for him. I thought it was hilarious.
