Having fought this guy several times, and being defeated mostly because of being too defensive I thought I'd take a more effective role and control the rhythm of this fight. It proved rather successful with crouching setups, landed a crazy amount of ws+2's on this guy. However, don't let this video fool you guys. gallo-san is a pretty good player. I think this is the only match I ever won vs him LOL. However, in my defence, he likes to throw a lot -.- and as you all know, that's one of my weaknesses, throw breaking -_-. Unfortunate for him though, I have taken time in practice mode vs King, and play almost weekly with CA_JV vs his King, and the knowledge gained from it really helped me secure the lead this game. Another thing is I been mashing 1 to get out of the air multithrow King has that leads to a giant swing, and it's been quite unsuccessful, probably because it's the wrong escape button. And finally, this match, I tried 2, and that helped me break the throw. Also, the 1, 2, 1, 2+4 combo is one of the first things I practiced vs King so that paid off alot. For those of you who get beat down by online scrub Kings a lot, I'll just give you guys some quick advice that will help. 1, 2, 1, 2+4 and 1, 2, 2+4 are both breakable using 2, so anytime you see that string, just get ready to break it. Although you can duck the throw after 1,2, you risk being crouch thrown or hit by the middle 1. If you're hit by the third 1, you will be thrown if they followed the string with 2+4 because it knocks you out of crouch. The one option that I found that will always work granted you have timing down, is sidestep to King's left on the third middle hit. Sidestep 15f launch it preferably with a RP input move. That way if you fail you have a chance of breaking throw by mashing it. Just make it instinct, and you'll find yourself breaking lots of throws or launching a lot. In the event you don't react fast enough, a panic d after 1, 2, 1 to ws follow up only puts you back at square one in worst case scenario as if you never knew about the ss. Another thing is, when you're blocking his much abused d+3+4, 4, 4, if you're hit by the first one, you have to reset your stick/dpad to neutral before you can low block it or low parry it. Otherwise the whole string hits. You can't low parry the second kick, but you can block it. So it's like *Get hit by first kick, stick/dpad to neutral, hold db, blocks second and third. To low parry the string, you gotta block the second one, then df the third. I personally just try to block the whole string, to avoid getting hit by the 2 mix up, because if you block the 2, you get a 15f launcher. Anyway, I can say more, but enough talk enjoy!
@IronicIcon4Tek6 Yea, his throws are extremely annoying -_-. But all the more incentive to learn to deal with throw spammers I guess. It's better that I am plagued by such scrubby players now, so that I can learn to deal with them now rather than later on at even higher ranks. His King is really weak compared to other chars he's played me with. He has atleast a few juggles that do good damage, that + damage like Mr. Kim presents a difficult case for me haha. I gotta work on it :\.

I've played this dude quite a few times and I remember he attempted to throw me about 4 or 5 times in a row with King. Pretty scrubby to say the least and he still didn't win that match.
