this guitar is fucking awesome! did you cut those bumps/steps on the top side of the guitar body because the angle cut you made didnt line up correctly so you tried to blend it in with the steps? if you did, thats something i would have done! i cut a gutar and changed the cutouts and everything to the other side to convert it to a left handed guitar before. also ,i draw cars and stuff and i enjoy fixing the "ugly" or flaws on other peoples designs! do you enjoy doing that kind of stuff too? : )

@yourallbrainwashed many thanks . i thought it was boring to have a smooth edge at the top so put the steps in to give it a saw effect . i mirrored the effect in the bottom edge of the scratchplate . i have to change design features i think have been botched ,too . i guess my two longest running issues are telecaster headstocks ( i put a slimline strat shape on my pine tele ) and rickenbacker bass scratchplate . the body shape could be better but the scratchplate was obviously a rush job

a locking nut? why? xD
kageyTM 6 months ago
@kageyTM i re-drilled the tuner holes in the headstock in a different alignment . which meant the strings were being pulled out of the nut slots , so i made it a locking one to hold them in
