Vets use the name chelonian, or something like that, basically it means all turtles because people can be so specific

For all you "experts" out there that know everything, he something else you should know. Snapping turtles do bask. If you disagree with me then take a drive down a country road with a pond or lake nearby. See that thing laying in the middle of the road not moving anywhere? Well that would be a snapping turtle. You can run your mouth on youtube all you want but i want to see you go tell that snapping turtle to get back in the water because he doesn't need to bask or even get out of the water.
