My romantic, talking budgie, Sparkie

My budgie, Sparkie having a romantic chat to my finger. He mentions my children, "Harold" and "Theodora" and also says: "I love you" "Hello, hello there" "Give us a kiss" "I'm a budgie" "Knickers" "Sparkie" and "Pretty Boy". He says other things too and speaks very clearly.

They may never talk - some budgies don't - especially if there is more than one budgie - they are more likely to copy each other's noises. Best of luck though - keep trying because you never know.

I got the same bird but his name is stumpy and genus way cuter I'm teaching him how to talk his first word was "toot toot" ahhahahahhahaa I have a bird like this one and another one only it is green and all I love budgies at first I though they were call lovebirds

My parakeet was listening to "The Great Escape" song and just loved it! Made noises I have never heard him make. I love how they have their own personality, and favorite music. Mine's favorite music is soft rock =)

i have two budgies i got them a month ago, they are very familier with me and they eat from my hands now, but am a little impatient here ... when do they start to talk? ^^ is it like 3 to 6 months like some video stated? or they can start if i trained them well? thanks and thats an adorable lil' budgie!
