  • One of the true British songwriting talents of the last 25 years. Perfect pop music with great spirit and soul. The natural heir to Lennon & McCartney. Timeless...

  • Ironically this song ang and the royalties he earned from Robbie helped keep him afloat when he was disabled by his aneurysm. I love Karl more than I can say. I am so glad he's back. Love the lyrics, love the melodies love the performances

  • such a well crafted song!

  • YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! such an awe inspiring talent. love, love, love

  • Makes you wonder what sound Wallinger and Scott would have made together if they continued .....

  • no probs twisty willow glad we got it sorted,i'm a fan of waterboys and world party

  • @gibbo1968 my apologies, sorry, I dont get slang, I thought you were being rude :-( (not being sarcastic or anything but genuine here) I really thought leg end was something not nice and when you asked where KW is now I thought that too was a kind of 'ha look at him now! long gone and maybe if the Waterboys do reunion money gigs' kind of response. Really I am sorry, I didnt realise it was a question or that leg end is slang,I do so agree though, he is indeed a Legend,

  • @twistywillow

yer tit i like both and i was askin a simple question thats why i said leg-end it's a slang for legend. And i didn't know he'd been ill hence me askin the question, don't judge next time.

  • @gibbo1968 thats not nice.. I suggest you read wiki... the dude has been ill... I'd like to see you come through what he has and still be as good a singer/song writer as him.. as for the waterboys.. ha no hope, Wallingers output over the years has far outstripped the waterboys in quantity and quality, dont like his stuff, dont listen, simple.

  • @Medusafern I played "Dumbing Up" pretty much all the time when I was going through my divorce, and I swear that album pulled me through it all. It's still one of my favourite albums by anyone today.

  • For those who who are interested this song was featured in the movie 'The Matchmaker'
