  • This Tutorial would be So much more helpful and informative with a Narration of the steps involved, i.e. Pressure with the solder Iron, the type of tip used on the Iron for best results, the name of that tape used to soak up the old Solder, just a helpful thought I hope, for those that are less experienced. Not to say that it wasn't informative, and I want to say Thank You as well.

  • the past he uses is flux, it also looked like he super glued the dc jack in place before he solderd.. also if the pins are not the same then you dont have the right dc jack. =/

  • What if the pins arent the same. And how can you tell which one is positive and negative for the pins.

  • What is the paste that used for and what is he doing when he spreads it on the board

  • That tape is called "desoldering wick"

  • This was very helpful. Thank you!
