Thank you for posting this video. I am just now learning of this Multiple Intelligence theory. I truly feel that if there was some form of this teaching method available when I was a student in the public education system, I might have actually learned something. I do not consider the way school's are ran now to be completely useless, although if the curriculum were applied in a more individual and personal manner, students would be able to relate and therefore retain more of what is taught them
Unfortunately, this is typical of too much of the MI material. Right at the start there are 6 errors in just one slide (at 16 secs.), and absolutely no evidence for MI.
One of the greatest challenges for American education in the 21st century will be to stop wasting resources on fads like MI that can be seen to be unsupported by science, and focus efforts on what is supported by careful observations of real children doing real school tasks.
