definitely one of the moodier, broodier AW screentests (oh wait .. they all are!) .. it's weird that he keeps stepping out of the frame, considering his later fate. the music suits it well. is it from the Nico/Garrell film? he always had the coolest music in those movies. nice kolourization as well.

@desertshore yeah its from the Nico/Garrell film, speaking of which i really wanna see it but by the looks of it there's more chance of finding jesus's flip flop then there is that film... grrr

Thanks for uploading this! He was every bit as mysterious and tragic as Edie Sedgwick or Nico. Another angel with a broken wing.

@MowgliX i did have this up quite some time ago but had a different audio track to it. this screen test is probably my favorite. i really like the facial expressions, mysterious and hypnotic which goes well with the music

@PlanetNamedDesire I agree, it's a very good screen test, very atmospheric. All of the people Andy filmed had a certain something that can't be explained. This guy and Edie were some of the most intriguing. Edie for instance: on the one hand, she was a complete blank, perhaps deliberately, on the other, she really had depth, on an emotional level, and a personality you just could not ignore. You just *have to* look at them!

By the time Edie met Andy, Freddy Herko had just killed himself. Quite a few people around Andy jumped out of windows, overdosed or drowned themselves. It's very sad, but I don't think was Andy was to blame.
