No arms, no legs, no problem! Carrissa contracted meningococcemia when she was three years old (now 14), resulting in quadruple amputation and developmental delay. Despite this, she is one of the most positive children you could ever meet. She has exceptional spirit and an unfaltering determination. She inspires everyone around her. Here she is shooting hoops with impressive accuracy.

This makes me smile. She's so cute...AND talented! I know you're so proud of her. She is so inspiring. Thanks for putting this up and showing that 'handicapped' people aren't really handicapped. (The REAL handicapped people are the ones who troll vids like this in order to leave nasty comments. I haven't read the other comments yet, but unless you moderate them there are certain to be some. I'm in love with your daughter though. What spirit, what joy. Thanks again for sharing her.

WoW!! she is awesome,she really inspires me. I had Meningococcemia when I was five months, I was blessed, I did not lose any of my limbs, all I have to deal with is a couple of scars here and there on my body, from skingraphing. I am now 24 years old and greatfull.

Thanks. Last spring I went to her choir concert (she loves singing); I really wish I had a video camera with me. I'll try to capture another moment sometime.
