Exit Music... This video, now sadly un-imbeddable, should have been seen by many more people. It has a lot to say for the overlap between life and fiction. It is an impressive case (or part therof) for consideration of crime novels as as "legitimate" literature. (In my view, reading good work of any kind can cross one over into better business writing say, or song writing or designing dresses ...if you follow my drift.) Cheers Ian! See you at the Oxford.
Thanks for posting this interview. I have been following Rebus (and Ian Rankin) from the beginning and absolutely love these books. It's too bad the Exit Music has played, and I will certainly miss John Rebus!
