Brockton boys play for title

In its Div. 1 South Sectional final loss to BC High last year, the Brockton High boys basketball team played, perhaps, its best half of basketball of the season. After racing to a 42-30 halftime lead, the Boxers then played perhaps their worst half of basketball in getting outscored, 44- 21, over the second half before bowing out of the tournament with a 74-63 de feat. This year, however, Brockton head coach Bob Boen promises that will not be the case when the top-seeded Boxers (22-0) face third-seeded Newton North (20-4) in Saturday nights sectional final at UMass-Bostons Clark Athletic Center at 8 p.m. Follow the action Saturday at www.Entewrprisenews.com and read out it in the Sunday Enterprise.
