This is awesome. I've been trying to categorize my own music, but it just has so many different elements, all I could really say is alternative new-progressive shoegaze space post-rock.

Put some deep base arpeggios layered under this similar to Radiohead "All I Need" and this would be absolutely amazing......truth be told...it is already amazing. Will hve my rig complete soon and begin making lush soundscapes.

Who the hell disliked this? Good stuff. Reminds me of Slowdive and Cocteaus. I have the same amp and delay pedal. It's cool to hear someone else doing these sounds with some of the same gear.

@Crucifixism Precisely the two artists I was trying to sound like! No idea about the dislike though. Haha.

do you have any good shoegaze setting for your DD7? I have one setting that i quite like, but i want some for reference as i'm fairly new to writing shoegaze

@HitmanJenkins1 The key to shoegaze is a "layered" guitar sound, so the initial repeats should be at least as loud as the original dry signal. This can be done by turning the effect level to 3 o'clock (or further). The result (when combined with heavy reverb) is an amorphous swirl of notes. I use an external footswitch to make the repeats occur in time with the song, but this is actually totally unnecessary. As for feedback, I just try to keep it back far enough to prevent squealing.
