Technically atheism doesn't need evidence because it's not making any claims. However, you could say that the best evidence for atheism is simply the lack of evidence for any God or religious claims. Also, a general knowledge of history of the world. Finally, knowledge of the psychology of believers, understanding why they believe in religion, which is rooted not in fact but in emotional need.
I hope that answers your question. Have a nice day.
So why pick religion to exercise your freedom of speech? There are countries that won't let you speak ill of the leader. Why not have a fuck Kim Jong Il day?
You really don't come across as being defenders of freedom, but as haters of religion. And maybe you are. And that's fine if you are. What's not fine is being cowardly and disguising it as fighting for freedom of speech.
"In a world of superstition reason is blasphemy. In a world of ignorance facts are blasphemy. In a world of cruelty sympathy is a crime, and in a world of lies truth is blasphemy." ... "Do you not know that every religion in the world has declared every other religion a fraud? Yes, we all know it. That is the time all religions tell the truth—each of the other." -- Robert G. Ingersoll (1833-1899)
I love your logic. It's wrong of course, but cute. How can you tell if its a denial of the sin of blasphemy or a statement about the existence of god? Of course it's easy to clear up. I agree the intent is to deny the existence of god. A "be a cowardly traitor to your species" day would be more inclusive--meant for anyone who would endorse any sort of dictator just to save their own morally bankrupt souls.

I have a question just for you penn!
What evidence is there that atheism is accurate and correct?
Good video though 5 stars for the laugh of rebellion against plausible accountability.
I hope that answers your question. Have a nice day.
Regardless..
you lose.
