I've been using mine for about 15 years also , with the same blade . I only use the angled attachments and have gone through about 5 of them because they are a little fragile if you should happen to let your robocutter hit the sink at a bad angle , the little plastic pieces will break off. Wish they made those attachments out of a stronger material instead of plastic. Other than that , Great product. Good video. Nice camera.

@upajos I might oil it more often. Or try cleaning it perhaps.

@muppetspuppets Yep, same blade since 1995 and it still cuts perfectly. I have a spare cutter set, but have yet to install it. I do, however, regularly lubricate the cutter and cutter shaft with the oil supplied by Robocut or a few drops of Marvel Mystery Oil. If yours is pinching, there may be excessive spacing between the blades or other misalignment that's causing the hairs to be grabbed and twisted instead of being sheared off cleanly.

@upajos Are you still using the same blade? Mine is starting to pinch/yank on the hair. I'm not sure what is wrong. It's only a year old

It's actually a camera that can record hi-def. It is a Panasonic DMC-TZ5. I love it. It does everything I need. I may do a review vid for it.

My RoboCut is 14 years old now, and still works like new. The last time I went to a barber was in 1995, a few weeks before I bought the unit. I cut the neckline by fully retracting the telescoping dial and rest the butt of the unit on my shoulders with nozzle pointing upward. The shoulders provide a reference point for an even cut, then I finish off the fuzz with a razor in the shower. I can do it all while facing the mirror and don't have to see the back of my head at all. Great product!

Sounds like you have mastered the technique for the hairline. I use that same method for my back and sides to blend it in. This little gadget has saved me money and more importantly time. I really don't like giving up a half hour a month in a barber seat. I can Robocut in under ten minutes at home.
