dont these people realize that cutting spending would hurt the economy. ask any economist, work in finance, or live in a major city you should agree. if consumers and private businesses are holding back then the govt is the only one creating or retaining jobs at the moment. a drop in govt would severly hurt the stock market and then everyone else.
