One of the better laps of the day at SCMC Cobra Club/Stangfest 2009 HPDE @ VIR Full Course 10/17/09 in a professionally prepared 2002 Roush Stage 3 Mustang equipped with complete Griggs Racing GR40 World Challenge Suspension and Griggs 4on4 brakes. Here's one fairly clean lap from the intermediate (orange) run group....a 2:21 -- without traffic it probably could have been a 2:15. Engine has stock bottom end with Roush-installed Eaton supercharger and intercooler...making only 335 rwhp. The car weighs 3,465 with driver and fuel. Built by Performance Autosport in Richmond,VA. More details on car build available at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3070346.
Nice video. Too bad there aren't any Porsche or BMW on the track to get an idea of the performance of this car.

Thanks for the feedback. Check out some of my other on track videos...there are definitely some Porsche, BMW's, Vipers, etc. The Griggs suspension is totally amazing...need more power though to keep up with the bigger hp cars in the straights. I'm only making 335 rwhp...200 less than some others.

@70machwon I am myself contemplating the possibility to have the GR40TT fitted on my 2007 GT500. That's a 20K investment, so I need to be sure it will pay back in good track time. The problem with the GT500 is the weight on the front, very nose heavy. Do you know how much weight the griggs pack sheds off ?

Not sure about weight less numbers...but I can promise you this...once your drive a GR-prepared GT500, you'll never go back! Depending on where you live I would recommend that you talk with Bruce Griggs or Don Rostich (Performance Autosport in Richmond VA). They are the most knowledgeable. You can also check the Team Shelby website...there's always alot of people out there that have already made the same mods.
