The Armed Forces are unleashing heavy attacks on the LTTE from four fronts.. The troops advancing in the North shattering terrorist strongholds have intensified their attacks. The Media Centre for National Security said many LTTE targets had been attacked during the past 24 hours. Six terrorists died in an encounter in Mullaitivu. Four were injured. The Media Centre pointed out that seven more terrorists were killed and another four wounded in skirmishes in Kilinochchi.
