Ofcourse from the extended universe we now know that Maul survived his bisection (somehow he must have been a torso for a while) and got fitted with robot legs only to hunt Obi-wan and lose. Again.

Although, most 'Warriors' will say that it was because Kenobi confused/disorientated Maul by calling upon the Light Side of the Force...
Something like that! Either way, Maul should definately have been able to block him!
Also, does anyone notice that at 0:39, after Obi-Wan jumps over Maul, he could've easily ripped Maul's back to shreds, rather than do a twirl? :S

I honestly agree completely with this comment. Maul is just kinda staring at Obi-Wan like 'Ohhh...whaaaatcha dooooin' Hm? Jumpin'? Oh, op! Over my head, but whaaaa...OH. Ouch.' Or something. It just seems very silly.
