Delta 1147 departing SLC for SAN in the middle of a snow storm. As we waited to depart snow started to stick to the window, and did not blow off until well down the runway. You can see rate of snow as we pull onto the runway. 737-800, N3735D.

  • What time of year was this? I'm going to Salt Lake City in January on Southwest from San Diego, but I'm stopping in Vegas. Nice video too!

  • It's Kinda Cool How All The Snow Flies Off The Window When You Start Getting Off The Ground.

  • Ive been to SAN 2 times! lol :)

  • Looks pretty awesome, how the snow and water gets blown off the window. XD

  • utah is has an awesome airport...i go there every year from louisiana it islike a 3 hour trip

  • Your videos deserve more views =)

  • Must've been nice to be flying to SAN out of that kind of weather!

  • Doesn't matter. I'm guessing that Delta's op specs say that it doesn't need to be de-iced. The FAA only mandates that wings, control surfaces and other critical areas be free of snow/frost/ice.
