@MeninaLivre I ride since 5years but I have never been in such a situation! Sure, I rode horses gone wild but they´ve never ran into sth, so I wondered...
@Lolahorselove I didn't see it at first but I realized that you know/ride horses. Thankfully it seems like you haven't had to deal with a truly crazed horse. Let's hope you never do! It's very scary when they get like that and it's not common but when it happens the results can be traumatic. And about the health of the horses, I'll bet they were all alright for the most part. The Friesians probably had several cuts but nothing bad enough to make them stop. Nothing lethal probably :-)
@Lolahorselove Just to let you know, it wasn't intentional at all. One of the Friesians' (black horse's) harness broke and that sent both of them into a blind panic. Unfortunately if a horse is spooked enough to run into a solid object like that there's really not much the rider/handler can do. Also, the chestnut ("brown") one would have bolted if she had been able to...0:50 (I think any horse would). She just couldn't because of the debris. Other videos show her trying to more clearly.
@AradisCalaqendi agreed. I also start all my driving horses open, that way if they do throw a bridle they aren't terrified of the object they are pulling. Most driving accidents are caused from the blinders coming off.
