@ya4li I guess you would agree that Sayeda Fatima (peace be upon her) is a role model for everyone, particularly women, and she herself said that It is better for women that they do not see men and men don't see them. Ummul Baneen, and Sayeda Zainab used to also mourn Imam Hussain peace be upon him, but have you ever read that they held majalis for both men and women, or that their gatherings were attended by both genders?

@ya4li No one's questioned the sincerity of their intention, God forbid, but what the brother is trying to say is that women should not ever speak in a soft voice because men could be tempted by that. This is the islamic ruling on this issue. I understand your point, but they could spread the message within women's circles/ majalis for women only.
