Glen A. Larson Productions and Universal Television with the 1981 theme.

NOTE: I've seen every episode of Knight Rider, and they had never used this version of the jingle over the Universal logo. Why do you think I put 1981 in the title? Because it was used in Season 2 Magnum P.I. and Season 1 Simon & Simon. From what I understand, Knight Rider premiered in 1982.

Special thanks to JohnnyL80 and Restlessi for uploading the logos.

  • this isnt a spoof. Its actually from Mr. Larson's BEST tv show ever made, Knight Rider.

  • @jgknightboyz2000 If yatch the entire first season of Knight Rider AGAIN on Hulu, then you'll know that the Universal jingle at the end of this spoof is different than the one you hear at the end of every episode of season one. Go to JohnnyL80's page and then type "Universal," you'll see all the different versions of it. Knight Rider used the 1982 theme, while I used the 1981 theme.

  • This is probably what you would've seen if "The Fall Guy" (another show produced by Glen A. Larson) was co-produced by Universal TV, instead of 20th Century Fox TV.

  • @megamanj2004X True

  • This is from the show Knight Rider :)

  • @jhzenor61481 The logos were indeed from Knight Rider, but the Universal theme in this video was never used on the show. The Universal theme in this clip is a lot different from the one that was actually used on the show. See the show's closing credits again and you'll hear the difference between the jingles.

  • He's got you right there, jgknightboyz2000. It's a spoof alright.

  • @TheJoc0 I sure wish it would've been used with the Belisarius and Universal logos from Airwolf. Both those shows were produced by them during that time.

  • The Glen A Larson jingle's beautiful.
