The greatest predator to the flock are not the wolves or the cougars but their own shepherd.

I am fed up with these people wanting the government to come up with more laws and policies. They use there kids as an excuse to do it. Parents need to spend more time with their GD kids. Hell I think it would be great if the TV had mature content then parent would spend time with there kid reading a book or something. And talk to your teenagers about sex so they can make better choices.

What if the older man had a successful career, planned to marry the girl and take care of the family (not against her will) to make a good, happy life for the family with love, giving the girl and the children freedom to do what they wish with their lives and not hinder any hopes or dreams they may have but protect and provide for them? Isn't that what society is all about? Surely this type of situation could only bring happiness to the world? Predators are the ones who wish only to harm people

the same goes for alcohol age limits and driving age limits, there are some people that will never be responsible enough to drink responsibly even if they're 39, whilst some 16 yr olds are responsible enough to drink responsibly yet it's illegal to do so, and the same goes for driving some people can drive well at the age of 10-11-12 probably better than some 60 or 70 yr olds can, laws are just generalisations. Hitler made generalsations abouts the Jews and tried to make laws from that too...

I think you right on Emerson24, i agree with pretty much everything you've said. I think it's wrong to force some one into doing what they don't want to do but if they have desire to do it or want to do it then, regardless of their age, they should be entitled to do it, laws are merely generalisations that are forced onto our society, just because one 13 yr old is not mature enough yet or does not desire sex does not mean that ALL 13 yr olds are not mature enough and do not desire sex.

My point is that you are only thinking of it from terms of what you were taught on what to think. And if I'm going to hedge my thinking in any direction, it will be what mother nature created. And that is that a girl can procreate at 13. Listen, just because you can't form an educated opinion because you fear being ridiculed isn't my problem, and quite frankly, I don't really care if you think I"m a pedophile because I have a well constructed argument. People who follow without questioning are morons. Step outside your box of socialzed indoctrination. I never said I want to have sex with a 13 year old, doesn't interest me. However, the situation at hand is a sting where a girl is setting a guy up, that consented to have sex with. Sure, is it "weird" that a guy much older is going to have sex with a teenager? By what our society has TAUGHT you what to think, yes. But the fact is, if you grew up and that was okay, then it would be okay.

I was being taught about sex in 6th grade sex ed. You people act as though whoever "under the legal age" doesn't know what sex is. So before you begin saying that just because I have a different opinion that makes me a pedophile, shut it. By the same token, just because I have no desire to sleep with a 13 year old, whatever SHE wants to do, is HER business, not mine.
