  • That set looks like the Early show

  • It was the Early Show, WCBS did their news from the 5th Avenue studios during this time.

  • ive always liked Dana Tyler i dont understand why she isnt lead anchor for CBS2.

  • And what's crazier, we'd work with the reporters on their pieces and then they'd take a mad dash to 5th ave to be live! And this is from 57th and 10th to Central Park during rush hour!

  • This was also during the period when Channel 2 was desparate to schedule ANYTHING at 4 o'clock to break WABC-TV's "stranglehold" {Oprah Winfrey} on viewers during that hour. After discovering that people DIDN'T want to see an "early" newscast, they began airing "THE PEOPLE'S COURT" at 4...and it's been "holding its own" for several years...

  • I was hoping I see Ira Joe (when he was younger) while he was on KHQ's 40th Anniversary Special in 2002, but all the videos had been wiped out. I know he was working in that station during the 70's. Just some thought on that.

  • Bill Ratner does voiceovers on tons of TV stations in the US.

  • what happened to Lisa Hill?
