Why this band didn't make it much much bigger is a great mystery to me still. They were contemporary, current, original, and stood out from almost everything else that was going on - at least in the UK at the time. Fantastic lyrics, voice & music, and the way the guitars & keyboards complemented/played to each other was classic and spot-on. I suppose I will die without ever knowing the answer. Harumph.

Wow, it's incredible to find so many fans here. Such a great sound. I remember buying Shakespeare Alabama in college without knowing a thing about this band. Best gamble ever.
