Its my review for these two wah pedals. And wanna show u what can wh10v2 do 535q cant. In distortion wh10v2 better than 535q for 10 times. Really great pedal but i have trouble with my pickups so wh10v2's sound might be isnt like what u expect.
I use a mexican strat through a marshall mg30dfx with ge-7, sd-1, and ds-2. Strings are old, pickups are stock and very bad condition, im waitin for my new texas specials. So this is not perfectly made, when i get new stuff i'm gonna make another one. Btw the sound is very weak sorry about that.

  • @Levi61092 It is, that's its only downside.

  • I had a WH10v2 for quite sometime, I ended up trading it in. You can get all the same tones out of the MXR CAE 404 and so much more. I still believe the WH10 is a solid pedal, it's still in my smaller pedal board. But the volume gap and poor bypass caused me to remove from my main board.

  • you should try to replace the 535q at the first when trying to compare

  • Not only is the signal chain off, WH10V2 is one of the worst wah pedals I've played (to my ears!). Low vocal qualities, a narrow sweep and very flimsy construction. The only reason to buy this pedal? Frusciante used it. Other than that, there's nothing that the pedal itself has to offer. MXR CAE, Budda and Tech21 make much better wah pedals for the same price. But if you want "premium funk", go for an RMC, Fulltone or older Jen pedals. I went for the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe - a very vocal wah.

  • what dangerous if that amp falls all your pedals are done

  • This isnt a proper comparison because the wah will sound differently before and after the wah. Here the ds2 is in the middle. Wah--->Distortion = JF tone. Distortion--->Wah= Not so much

  • @dckstrat90 Get a Big Muff Pi Tone Wicker

  • my 535q absolutly kills the distortion from my ds-2. i hate it. great clean but thats it. dont know what to get

howeverr....it was still a kickass wah, I could tell, because it even made that horrible tone I had from the pedal sound actually ok when it was on

I had one for about...I think 3 or so hours lol and it was pretty hard to engage, I ended up returning it, but that's not why.

it was LOUD as hell, at least 30% louder than your sound without it and it had the worst bypass I had ever heard. It absolutely *killed* my tone when it was off.

Maybe my guitar center got a bad batch (I tried another one in the store) because other wh-10 v2s clearly don't do this.
