@danrvm I honestly gotta tell you my friend, protesting hardly EVER prevails. You lose on the money too. Video is almost always inadmissible unless the referee(s) are in direct violation of conduct, not judgment. In my long time as a referee, I have only seen a protest prevail once . . . and that was because the referee accidentally took too many painkillers before the game and it affected his performance adversely. If you are going to try to use video, make sure its a good and unclipped.

@danrvm He's right. Only misapplications of the Laws of the Game are protestable, not judgment calls. If you're lucky, the board will refuse to hear it and give you your deposit back. I assume you lost your deposit?
IMO @waltheat is probably a referee and, since it appears important to you, so am I. There must be _someone_ objective or matches would never get played.

So let's actually have some information - what's the red card for? Why should we trust a shaky camera from 70 yards away over the view of the AR 15 metres away,? What evidence is there that whatever supposedly happened, didn't happen?
I'm skeptical. Give some more information and I might sympathise. It's not enough to say "you can't see anything happening." You have the burden of proof and have not demonstrated proof.

there was no ref response. it was the AR who made the call, and passed it on to the CR. there could have been a serious foul. and it didnt have to be an action. she could have said something. either way you are right the video isnt good enough to tell. and its at the wrong angle. and most of all. the refs decesions are final.
-
I don't see the foul
-
stop whining. damn. refs decesions are final
-
where the red card??
honestly u tried to protest a decision with this?
a. Law 5 says, "The decisions of the referee regarding
facts connected with play, including
whether or not a goal is scored and the
result of the match, are final."
b. This video gives a discipinary board nothing to look at.
c. The AR was 3 ft from the play. HE/ SHE PROBABLY GOT THE CALL RIGHT!

You're so funny - you must be a ref. You're right, it isn't much to look at. So, knowing so little about the situation you've still seen fit to lecture us on law 5. Thank you!
