Joel explains how he made his raised greenhouse garden bed to protect the fresh produce he grows year round in Paso Robles, CA from gophers and the frost of winter. Find out more at LiveWorkDream.com!
I also made a small greenhouse it's getting closer to fall so I'm starting to think about how to keep things over the winter so I started to build a pop can solar heater anyway thanks for sharing this video
nice job. i live in northern california. i just toss some burlap over my winter spinich, lettuce, beets, carrots. seems to withstand the below 25 temperatures. i have been too lazy to build a hoop house over my bed. i plant big beds in early fall when its still warm and the winter just acts as my outdoor refrigerator. i suppose your setup would make it easier to plant in nov, dec, jan, or feb. nice job.
