hey, am i able to do this exercise on something tht is NOT tht exact machine thing? the gym i work out in doesnt have tht. can u tell me what i can do tht exercise on? would this work on the thing u do incline sit ups on? thnx.
@xJosebx Most power lifters, and serious lifters for that matter, tend to wear shoes with very little compression in the sole. It enables you to get a better drive from your legs and since the sole doesn't compress much, you are better able to keep your weight where you want it. Some examples are wrestling shoes, Chuck's, those finger toe shoes, barefoot, and...weight lifting shoes.
Ive been using my wrestling shoes for working out. I had them lying around after I decided wrestling wasn't my thing. I felt i was outta the game since everyone had technique and I just had strength. They feel great working out in. As for any other reason, I am not quite sure. I just figured I would use mine for working out rather than sitting in the closet.
I do ghetto GHRs by hooking my feet under the bench press, putting a pad under my knees.. works great.. destroys my hams.. and my knees can't "go down"..
i've tried this on the lat pull with my heels under the pad, but it doesnt feel the same as using the actual machine, any advice?

when the knees go down, it help with the glutes more. that why he is doing it this way.
