@RDdaNINJA These didn't rip off gremlins.. The script for the original Critters film was written way before Gremlins was even thought of. Its just a huge similarity thing. And a bunch of people, without doing any research, just say its ripped off from Gremlins. These are.. "Aliens who come to earth to feed". Gremlins is "creatures from a christmas present who party". Oh yeah, huge similarity ._.

@GrendelBoglin You kidding me? No huge similarity? Critters is just the mature version of Gremlins with some differences. Just because critters are aliens and Gremlins are a christmas present doesn't mean it's something completely different.

I absolutely love both and I see them as 2 different movies but you can't deny the fact that there are some major similarities.

Oh, and I don't care which idea came first or whatever (good to know though) cuz I never seen it as ripoffs anyway.
