Cooperative Effort Helps Low Income Families File Taxes

A grant from Pacific Capital Bancorp helped Cal Poly students expand a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site started by Allan Hancock College and the United Way. The grant helped extend the services to more than 800 low-income families this year, from just over 300 last year.
