  • "when seconds count, the police are only minutes away..."

I live in a pretty rough part of a pretty rough town, just weeks ago there was a shooting only 5 blocks from my house. Unfortunately these sorts of things DO happen. This man is not paranoid, he is a good father, a good husband and a smart/prepared guy. I respect you sir.

  • From the military and personal events i'm way to prepared, people even joke that i have a bigger arsenal than any police or swat team in 20 miles. With the way people and our government are getting i think every american should have 3 firearms... a handgun, a shotgun (i recommend the mossberg 500 cruiser), and an assault weapon like an AR-15 or ak

  • @arthurlafave in texas we have castle law, which means we can kill in defense or to stop a felony such as robbery or murder

  • @youngfranchizeballer hell yes

  • I like how it is said in the movie tomb stone with sam Elliot.... No one said you can't own a fire arm... But you can't bring your fire arm it to town.....politics

  • now a-days... the law has protected the villan more than the victim... Recording with a video camera is a VERY good idea... but even with that, you will most likely go to jail for protecting your family...

KNOW your laws and rights.. and BE PREPARED like you said..

    Very good video, and info.

    Thanks for sharing!!

hope all is well, and take care,

    A.j.

  • I live in the very restrictive state of New Jersey :/ We always have to give the intruder an avenue of escape or have to flee before engaging unless attacked. Don't even think about stepping out of your house with a gun. carry permit you ask? you'll never get one in this state. i have a 12gauge shotgun and and a glock 26. you have some good ideas to consider and i thank you. stay safe and knowledgeable, sir.

  • I live in the wonderful state of Arizona, where you don't have to cower in the back of your house like a little baby. If someone breaks in your door, you can be on the other side with a 12 gauge...

  • I think you should add a nice tourniquet!!! Otherwise great gear / video!

  • @mybadlsc1 True. What lawmakers choose to ignore is that criminals, by definition, do NOT follow laws. They already ignore laws that are supposed to prevent rape, robbery, murder, etc., yet all these still occur. So why would criminals all of a suddenly start following gun control laws?

Additionally, those who hate guns have no problem being hypocrites in hiring armed security to protect themselves. Just ask Mayor Bloomberg or Rosie O'Donell (sp?)...

  • @Durockrolly You ask a good question, and if I may be so bold as to answer for Don...

Contrary to what was previously thought, magazines that are kept loaded do not lose their spring tension. What DOES wear the springs out are lots of repeated loading and unloading of magazines. It used to be thought that one had to unload any loaded magazines every 6 months to let the springs "rest"; in actuality that would cause more harm than good. This goes for both rifle and pistol mags.
