http://www.helainesmithdmd.com Oral cancer has become big news due to Michael Douglas being diagnosed with stage four oral cancer. Few mainstream media outlets, however, have addressed the connection between oral cancer, oral sex and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV).
This is because oral sex is just not something that's talked about in polite company. As much as we don't want to talk about it, it's important that we do as a recent study has revealed that of the over 5,000 respondents, 88% engage in oral sex. (Over 20% of young women engage in anal sex. Anal sex is how Farrah Fawcett contacted colon cancer.)
Researchers believe HPV, a skin-to-skin sexually transmitted disease, is passed via oral sex. Because more and more young people engage in oral sex (starting as early as age 10 or 11!), the incidence of oral cancer is rising in both young women and men.
To educate people about HPV, sex, and oral cancer, Dr. Helaine Smith has created a new video, Sex Facts and HPV.

@hpvhere and if you have HPV related oral cancer look for alternative treatments like hyperthermia...

You need to go back to grade school man or woman! 8,000 people dying in a year is about 20 a day! or one every hour! If you have oral cancer, meaning throat-tonsils-tongue cancers, look for alternative treatments like hyperthermia (heat treatment). Combined with low-dose-radiation it's very effective and doesn't have the disfiguring-poisoning side effects of surgery, radiation or chemotherapy
