Haha! I got it... Sorry it took so long to reply. This fix works for the 2g ipod touch I don't know about 3rd gen nano but I assume its the same. Just wire the data in and data out port together on your charger. What the ipod is looking for is a return signal from the charger that is exactly the same as it sent out. All this is doing is routing the ipods signal back to itself. Hope that helps :D

it worked when i put a wire there but when i sodier it. the thing did not work i just sodier the 2 together without wire with wire not sodier does not work no more can i get a pic with a circle using paint program to see what i have to connect?
