It does help to show em a live coon they get pissed and eventually senses kick in and they become coon dogs with a little help lol except for those shot eater ones who won't even get 5 feet from the coon and run away lol

i have a bluetick and a walker coonhound mix. shes starting to get old, but without a doubt she is the smartest dog i have ever known so far. we got so lucky when we found her.. not a lot of coonhounds in california =/

@dpedwards08 Old video it is better to get a hide and drag it around and take them to the woods.But, Barking at a live coon does help a lot also.
