  • Hey man, GREAT VID .. i'm on the brink of gettin this m*thaf*k*

    but I have to ask..

is there a lot of decent r&b / hip hop kits or sounds with Stylus..

I mean .. stuff i'd be happy to use right off the bat?

    thanks!

    ps. subscribed

  • @jclittrel get it. Tons of sounds. I hardly use the massive collection of "Groves" which are the preprogrammed beats, however there is also a MASSIVE collection of individual sounds like Kicks, snares, bongos etc. You can mix those down on an audio channel and change them to sound like something you like. Or just use them raw right outside of RMX. This program is highly recommended and so many people use it.

  • @JJRocco honestly I am SO close.. I was talking to tech support and they say that any midi pattern can be dropped into Omnisphere to create an envelope, not just Sylus patterns. Is this true? Have you tried using non-stylus patterns?

  • @jclittrel Get it. You know I do music I guess part time and i've only covered the the presets and some of the advanced features. However did you see the vidz spectrasonics has up? Just google spectrasonics video tutorials. I'm pretty sure if support says you can drag/drop midi patterns into Omni, i'm sure you can. They're straight up and don't bs

  • What was that soul drumnbass at the start of this video.

    I like it.

  • excellent many thanks (do the same peeps always hit the dislike button no matter what the video is??)

  • buena brother, excelente tuto, gracias.

  • LOL. *Of course* it syncs up to your beat. Since its samples get triggered by note events. which obviously are timed properly. That’s what those ramps → ∕ ← are. N00b.

  • I don’t get how people call putting ready-made loops together “making music”. That’s like making Kraft Mac&Cheese and saying “I’m a chef now”.

No you’re not. Everyone can put some pre-made stuff together. A 4 year old child can do that.

If you’re not making the pattern and melody yourself, you don’t get to call yourself a professional musician.

  • How are the hip hop patterns in Stylus? Are there any decent rolls and flams?

  • @controllerbrain Thats what I thought until I started to use it. But once you get it, then wow! You can really mangle sounds up with it. Has got great fx which can be automated, can use it as pure drum machine, great for remixing etc etc etc.Im still finding new stuff you can do wit it. It owns. Get your self a copy of Omisphere and Trillian and you ll never use any other plug ins again.

  • Nice vid, but I don't see the big deal about this plug-in. So you open it up, test out some kicks and pre-made percussion loops. When you find some you like, drag them into the project window and you're done. Surely that can't be the crux of the plug-in.

  • hey dude rly dig ur vid, its been much helpful. i only have one question

i created a midi track 01 for a kick sound like you did, and when i transfer kick loop from stylus i get no sound at all. do i have to somehow adjust my midi track to a vsti instrument or something ? thanks in advance :)

  • @SimplisticSalvatioNI What world are you living in? You're about 10 years behind. Do you realise that "piracy" is so widespread now that it's actually creating a lot of that music that you love so dearly? A lot of big artists started out this way (just like a lot of us are doing now). I know this for a fact and could name names. You'd throw up if I told you who they are.
