Miss Indonesia 2009 Crowned in Jakarta

Miss Indonesia 2009 is officially crowned with a stunning 18 Karat white gold tiara circled with diamonds.

Her name is Karenina Sunny Halim, but shes known as Nina, and she was delighted with the win.

All my talent comes from God. All of us, 32 finalists, have our strengths and weaknesses. They have all become my friends, like being part of my family, so I think, all of us 32 contestants are the winner.

Nina is 23 years old and is looking forward to representing Indonesia at this years Miss World contest.

Miss World will be held in December in South Africa. So I still have 6 months to prepare myself. But the most important thing is that I cannot make it alone. So I need to always pray and believe in God, because God is the source of my strength.

Ninas mother comes from the U.S. and inspired her to become a volunteer teacher.
