This is a clip from Weird Connections documenting research on a flagella-inspired robot propulsion motor. Scientists at Brown University create a tiny motor that can power a micro-robot propulsion system. The motor is the most powerful engine for its size and will spin a flagella-like tail into a cork-screw pattern opening possibilities for applications for micro-robotic surgery.
