Here's a video on how I apply my foundation and concealer...sometimes. I don't always use this techinique. This is typically a techinique I use when I'm going more for fuller coverage rather than light coverage.

  • Thanks for the video ^^

It was really helpful for me, I'm just learning how to put on foundation.

I have skin that is not dry, and never greasy (lucky I think) do I need to bother with a foundation? I have MAC Powder Plus Foundation in NC15.

  • @ravenology It's really a personal decision. If you're happy with how your skin looks and you don't feel like you have any blemishes you want to conceal or uneven skin tone that you want to even out, then by all means, rock out with your natural beauty! Nothing's more beautiful than what nature has blessed you with! If you still feel the need for some form of makeup, then go with a light coverage foundation or just some simple powder like what you're using. :)

  • do you have dry skin or oily skin? i just wanted to know if this clinique foundation is better suited for dry skin or oily :)

  • I have combination oily skin in the summer, and combination dry skin during the winter. The foundation I use from Clinique is suited for Combination skin types. However, Clinique does have different formulas to suit all skin types whether it's oily, dry, combo oily, combo dry, or "normal"...although I have yet to meet someone with "normal" skin. Haha :)

  • thankyou for your response,i appreciate those who actually respond to my comments :) i went to sephora to get a sample for this foundation, 4G seemed to suit me and with mat primer, it helps controlmyoils.i went for 4hrs with a super matte face yseterday at the mall. i am very pleased. but ill continue w/ the sample b/c whenever i rush into buying foundation, i soon find myself unsatisfied LOL..except it kinda gives me a white ghost look when applied too much. soi think i need a powder with it.

  • No problem. Glad the sample worked out for you. And I know what you mean about the whole buying something and then it seems like it only half works then or something. lol :)

  • I might get thumbed down for this, but I just wanna say that it's very refreshing to see a woman who isn't a complete stick insect doing a tutorial. Shows that curvy ladies know how to use make-up too. You go, pretty gal! ;)

  • verrrry helpful!
