The Transportation Department says airlines will no longer be able to hold passengers hostage on delayed planes for hours on end. Starting in four months, there will be a three-hour limit for planes stuck on tarmacs. (Dec. 21)

'Airlines face fines'? They're not even the ones responsible for the fucking delays.
And there we go, another case of government answering a problem it's created with more regulation, and the people BUY INTO IT.
You want a solution? Privatize those control towers. This is what Canada did, and delays are rare, and the times they happen they're short.
