  • I've heard this from another root source. We should consider an RBE (Resource-Based Economy) like The Venus Project proposes. Go to The Venus Project's dotCOM to see what its all about. Its something I've been researching for several years now. I find it to be a very intelligent direction to take.

  • For a guy who thinks money is evil and dooming the human race, Mike sure likes it. He demands people subscribe to his website in order to read most of the content. What kind of example is that for someone predicting the collapse our economy because of the love of money? Where is the alternative , and how is he a role model to those he preaches to?

  • Samsung is Korean

  • @pretorious700 Yeah, I agree, I think he discredits himself in this way, to the uninformed viewer that is. His other stuff is fairly accurate though.

  • I don't really think it is a question that our system is unsustainable currently and it will collapse at some point unless a miracle happens. However nobody knows how bad it will be (depression, mad max, somewhere in between) and we also don't know when it will happen. This "imminent collapse" crowd really pisses me off, people have been predicting it for ages...who is to say that this thing won't hold together another year, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years....

  • Glad to see ya back Mike, you are looking good. a lesson to all of us keep getting up.

Your advice a year or more ago about the stresses of living in a different culture.

  • you fail mike july 2011 its now 2012 get a real job your as bad as the media trying to predict the weather maybe next time

  • great analysis but so far nothing like this happened. no, it did not get any better either.

  • thanks skoorbr. keep em comin

  • @skymaster04 It's actually something like 1987 (and before), the game is just very good at stretching things out. The longer it goes the worse the end result gets.

  • @SteveTrinity2 true! so why does he make predictions involving a set date if it is unknown? pushing one's failed prognosis further out only works so long. ask the 2008 "total collapse" crowd...
